i would love to go up against him, i know playing with a former wallaby was great to be able to tell people about. Hell playing with or against any professional player is pretty cool!

Good on him for the Coaching gig, he may have a bit more depth of character than I had given him credit for!
Reality is that if he isn't in the match day 22 then he will be probably carrying an injury, as others indicated a match here or there is more news wow factor than anything too amazing at the end of the day.
Wonder if the ability to wear the WA jersey still swung his selection of clubs...
Well I think its admirable. You don't see many others who missed out on test spots doing this kind of thing in their spare time. Good on him I say, hopefully it sparks more players to become involved with colts and developing Wallabies of the future. What better way to learn to be a Wallaby than by being coached by one.
For the record, Im sick of people slinging...it at him & Gits. They both played out their contracts and then moved on. I'm not saying we should turn on Spanna but he did leave the club 1 season short of his contract and no one has a go at him. If we can be gracious enough to accept that he, Pelesasa, Pusey, Holmes, Valentine, Castle, McIsaac & Horua are leaving I think the same courtesy should be shown to Drew & Gits. They served a purpose and filled a position on the field when we needed it, they raised the profile of rugby in WA and they helped impart their knowledge on some of the younger players. We should be grateful for their service & leave them to play for whoever they like.
And to whoever neg repped me, I will get off my soap box when people stop being so petty and slagging them off for leaving. Works both ways.
Got sick of watching Gits playing concussed in 2008 Good luck to all our heroes -
he's doing something not many players do and i think he should be admired for it. drew. even if it is for a sydney club
I'm with you Laura; The game is a profession and these guys get to choose who they work for and they chose somebody else.:verysad: They had a contract for three years, not a life time. It would have been superb had they chosen to stay on with the Force but they didn't. Them's the breaks.
