shit
We sure will miss his services.... We only have 4 props available but they are all quality (Sham Vui is a prospect but has shown his massive potential). But we sure need to try and find 1 or 2 props during the NRC if we are to survive....
S. Manu back in Aus and in QPR
This was being talked around at the Awards Night.
Evidently the WF only offered a 1-year extension.
The Rebels were prepared to offer a 2-year contract on the proviso that they had life after the reduction to 4 teams.
With the Faulkner family expecting another baby Tets was looking for a bit more security than the 1-year contact.
Tets and his family has been good for the Force.
IMO he's a bit quiet around the park but he's an excellent scrummager and a top bloke.
Ah, this sucks. Best of luck to Tetera though. :)
It will be a shame to see him go but with a family to look after he's got to do what's best for them.
Good luck Tets.
would we be saying the same if he went to europe?
I would hope so, I can't imagine why losing him to the Rebels would be any different.
It's not like Tets has failed to put in here, nor has he shaken anybody's hand and said he'll stay, He hasn't gone to a protected species, I think he's done everything he can to do right by us, If sanity prevails and the Rebels get cut (actually if sanity prevailed the ARU Board and executive would get the arse and we'd have 5 teams, but I digress) he would probably look back west for a job anyway.
Wish him all the best, because he's done right by us, not everybody who leaves the Force deserves to be crucified.
Highly unlikely to be our competition as the ARU are dead set on cutting one of us or the Rebels. Europe is a long way away for a young family with soon to be 4 kids!
It hurts from a selfish supporter's point of view but you can't really begrudge the move in this case.
