I'm with Gerry on this one, but toyed with the 2 month option, just becasue I'd enjoy seeing AJ bench press him for a while.

Just think about it folks.
The ARU is a strict supporter of the WADA requirements. One reason Wendell went to the dark side was because he had not submitted to compulsory out-of-competiton testing during his 2 year sabbatical. As is required by WADA for any player to be readmitted.
So what chance is there of that arrogant little tw@t Cousins being allowed to play Union when he turns up for a hair follicle test having cut his hair too short for the test to be taken. I would be surprised if Jo'N's views on the matter are less lenient than those he expressed to Lote, Dunning et al some time ago.
The one question that I think most of us would like an answer to is what possessed the West to run such a ridiculous story ? Some payback on Stokes by some idiot journo ??
heres my take on it.
Cousins or one of his inner circle has paid off the WF to make a statement saying they might be interested for the sole purpose of poking a stick at the hornets nest that is the AFL heirarchy in order for someone to jump around and find him a place in a team somewhere or risk losing a very high profile player to a rival code and in turn all his supporters...
simple.
