The Waratah crowd on Saturday night at Allianz Stadium...

I thought we had already hit rock bottom with the East coast crowds but it appears about 6,000 kiwis flocked to Allianz to watch their 13 man Highlanders get beaten by a desperate Waratahs outfit.

Im seriously wondering why the Waratahs weren't up for consideration when they culled the Force unfairly. This in a heartland state:

They all turned up after the Swans game finished next door at the SCG with free entry. No doubt the official attendance will be what they counted when they left the ground.

Looks like about 20,000 to me (going by past counts at Allianz) :S

Eden Park also looked pretty empty yesterday.

Touring the smaller grounds of Sydney might be a way forward for the Tahs. Some of those RL grounds can generate a fantastic atmosphere.
