TWF Quiz Night 2014 - Saturday 9 August 2014

Ok folks! It’s time to dust off your thinking caps, limber up those little grey cells, and bone up on your rugby trivia as the TWF annual quiz night is rolling back into town!!

I’m still finalising all the details but the date and venue are set so put it in your diaries and start getting your team members and names sorted!

I'll keep this thread updated as more of the details are finalised. In the meantime, a big thank you to TIF for all the help he's given me so far :yay:

Suppose I'd better polish the trophy so it looks great on the night being handed back to us, the undefeated TWF Quiz Champions...

So will it be all rugby related questions or general knowledge as well? Just trying to stack our table so we do a bit better this time!

Mostly rugby-related Eley, but some general knowledge as well :-)

Mr Perth girl and I will be there! Can we go on someone's table?

We will be awarding prizes to the teams who finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd. We'll also have a booby prize for the team who finishes in last place.

Our very friendly Publican has kindly donated a JBs dinner voucher for 6 people as the 1st prize and we are hoping that HQ will be super kind and donate a few bits and pieces for one of the other prizes too. We'll also be holding a raffle - keep your eyes on this thread to find out what groovy prize we'll have for that :D

If any of you out there would like to donate any prizes for the night, or know anyone who might be willing to donate something, we would be hugely grateful. All profits we make on the quiz will be ploughed back into running this site that we all know and love.

To secure your places for the quiz, I'll need to have your team names and the $60 table fee by close of play on THURSDAY 31 JULY .

You can either leave the $60 at JBs, or pay it direct to me. If you want to pay me direct, PM me and I'll give you the relevant bank details.
