I like this thread!!!
We had 2 hundy left over in team funds from the Margaret River 7's and whacked it on Floria and with the 720 we got at fixed odds we were going to put it all on Fiddlers Elbow in the 5th at Ascot who our 1st grade captain has a share in and who won and paid 4 bucks.Anyway no more sob stories because the good thing about punting is there is always going to be another race next week
So you gamble club funds based on insider information.
Do your club sponsors know?
I am a club sponsor
Were you the jockey as well?
Don't wind me up you know I have short man syndrome
Bugger, I always thought you were taller than me.
But tell you what, Westie.
I'll notionally put away $100 per week in a notional bank account at 3% pa for six months.
You invest $100 per week on the GGs for 6 months, notionally or otherwise, and keep accurate records of all wins and losses.
Whoever, notionally or otherwise, has less money at the end of 6 months buys the other a carton of Teds.
Starting 8th March.
Are we on?
Nearly every punter knows you strategy is sound. But where's the fun in it? To keep an interest you need to be either an eternal optimist who likes the occasional adrenalin rush, or a born loser. I'm sure I'm the former. After all, I'm intending to keep turning up at NIB for the forseeable future. :S

It was Terry Hill's fur child and if memory serves the races were fixed to raise money for metho brain damage victims?
Fat was busy with his sac. Tezza was out at the doggies. The Falcon was having a run with subbies D-grade. Robbo was verbally abusing knee caps in Cabramatta or was it Penriff? The Chief was still playing. Sterlo was Mr Serious and planning a defection to Fox Sports. We all know what Matty was up to in NZ and did anybody catch Sophie's video?
Yeah, well, I support Palmyra and not Nedlands, I suppose ....
