i think someone with a bit more experience would be the preferred option
article about him in the west a few weeks ago saying that maybe he would like to come back here and coach but not for a while as he is still new to the coaching role position.
forwards coach maybe, head coach not yet
Yeah, what TOCC said.
I think it is important that the Force starts building a culture around past players etc.
This would be easier however with a bit more success to draw upon though.
If Taipan is forwards coach, what do we do with Sharpie once he finally decides to retire?
Tai is to clever to come back w/o something to offer - he'll learn and when he's ready hopefully he'll come back.
John Mallet anyone ?
Tai: Scrums,
Sharpey: Lineouts,
Stanners: Kick Arse Hard Running
Wobber: Lame Sideline One Liners...
Knuckles
Like to see Tai go to the rebels for a year or two or even the reds and come back to the Force as an assittant to David Nuciflora bewteen McQueen/MacKenzie and David he will learn alot... my prediction is JM will be replaced for 2011
Tai will have 2 years as head coach in Japan by 2011. He might not be ready for a Head coach position but I would love to see him back as maybe assistant coach then. Agree that it is important to build a club culture around past players
Tai McIssac is the forwards/set piece coach with a team called Honda Heat.
Last year Sam Harris was the overseas player and they won 9 out 10 matches with the Heat winning the Top West league and coming 2nd in the Top League challenge which means the team got promoted to the top League.
In the 09/10 season in the Top League they won 1 match from a possible 13 matches finishing 2nd last and which means they are being demoted again.
Note the other team promoted for the 09/10 season was Ricoh Black Rams which is coach by Todd Louden and one of there players was Steve Larkham.
In the season just past NTT Communications have won promotion, note this is the team Mark Gerard plays for and the one Craig Wing is going to.
