Man of the match has to go the the ground video manager for covering up a pretty obvious obstruction long enough for the ref to give up.

Losing Lance early messed things up. Lost all backline shape and play after that. 5mins left 4 points behind and we go for the 3 points? A very definite and noticeable drop off of basic skills and tactical nous from this Aussie 15. Koroibete was quiet except the off load for Mowens try. Scrums were doing their best AAMI Park Melbourne impression with all the turf being chewed up. Not a game worth getting up at 3:45 am for with some very familiar mistakes and brain farts from the same players who do it at Super level.
Rotten luck for Jonno :-(
poor bloke.
what a disappointing end to the year for him!
While I'm happy that Johnno is getting a run for Australia in some form. The selfish part of me didn't want it to be at the expense of the Force.
Now the rumour I've heard is that he has a broken arm.
How long will that keep him out of the lineup for the Force?
It would depend on how bad the break is.
Broken bone should be 6 weeks plus rehab, he'll be training for the start of the season, but not match fit.
Barring complications of course.
Meanwhile, bad luck continues to follow Western Force playmaker Jono Lance.
The 26-year-old, who missed part of the Super Rugby season with a pectoral injury, suffered a suspected broken arm six minutes into the match.
Lance's injury put Australia's plans into disarray, but they stayed on top until the BaaBaa's kicked a fourth penalty goal with 11 minutes to go - before a superb late try to No.8 Camille Gerondeau sealed the win.
Wallabies rookie Kyle Godwin, who made his Test debut against France last weekend, was a standout for the visitors and regularly beat the first defender after taking on additional responsibility following Lance's injury.

Hopefully only 4-6 weeks for Jono. We seriously need to look at getting the witch doctors in to lift the Force number 10 curse.
Our curse of the 10s returns. Maybe we should start sacrificing chickens, or something
I cannot believe we are in this situation again!
We are in a better situation this time than last year.
1)it happened before the start of the year rather than in the first game.
2)we have a bit more depth
3)we have time to plan for the first few games.
It could certainly be a lot worse.
Good luck to Johnno. May he recover quickly.
So thats two of our best players out injured, probably for the start of the season! Bugger!
Super Rugby start is still about 12/13 weeks away?
Whilst Adam Coleman would be a concern (and I haven't seen any update on his injury) but I doubt Lance will miss any game time unless it's a really complicated break.
