Can someone explain why there are no Tri-Nation matches in Perth or am I missing something ??
We get 1 test a year and England was our test for this year. So no SA.
I liked the England test more than the previous SA ones. The rivalry is much more friendly in a way and there is no self-absorbed boks fans. (sorry, but there is always a few let them down).
Agree!!
Prefer the Springbok games..no problem with mixing it up abit but a tri nation game has a lot more riding on it than a spring/winter test (unless its a test against the B&I Lions).
how about we get some Kiwis? im sick of the SA team every year. although i do love the Aussie v England rivalry, was a good (stressful) game
there was a blediscoe cup game mooted for Perth, but Eventscorp knocked back any funding for it
Why would the ARU contemplate bringing a Bledisloe match to Perth when we can only fit 42,000 people in to watch it?
More than double that can watch it in Melbourne.
and your point is?
we need that for Force games anyways. why not go the whole caboodle and make us a great venue for MORE GAMES??!!
i remember years ago going to the maori allblacks game at subi. wouldnt mind seeing the wallabies play them again. be better then playing lame teams like italy, barbarians or fiji.
id rather see us play the springboks then ingerlund. much more riding on the tri nations game and as long as the springbok supporters dont all of a sudden start blowing them horns from the soccer world cup i can put up with them.
Most pleasing to see last time going to see boks and wallabies was seeing ex-pat saffas wearing both springbok and wallabies apparel at the same time.
An expat kiwi wont ever be seen dead wearing green an gold.......believe me ive tried with my missus.
I just remember walking to the ground surrounded by dozens of people speaking Afrikaans and thinking, if people start talking about immigration I'm the one that will get pointed at...
Afrikans is hell cool to talk in public. And when you do it make sure your as loud as possible so people can hear you speaking another language. And if they laugh at you for being no different than asian tourists, start talking even louder.
