Done!
Done!
Big thanks to the legal team and admin team from the force. Whatever happens know we are proud of your efforts and the amount of work and fight that you've put in to keep rugby alive in WA.
Funds deployed. Email next.
Maybe the legal team could watch a re-run of Hodgo's last game for motivational purposes! That's how you destroy a team from the East!
I'm hoping the enemy will be as unprepared and unprofessional as they have been throughout this whole sorry debacle!
We haven't taken a backward step all year..... Go smash 'em team!!!!!
What continues to amaze me is the complete lack of a plan B from the ARU.
They assumed the Force would fold and seemed genuinely surprised when they didn't
A rush for plan B was to talk to Cox about the Rebels and again seemed genuinely surprised when he refused to sell.
Now they're looking at the arbitration as a fait accompli and will once again be genuinely surprised when they lose.
And still no plan B.
For a supposedly National body whose whole raison d'etre is to 'organize', 'plan' and 'manage' while filled with people who are supposed to be experts in this field they really are completely out of their depth.
The words 'piss up' and 'brewery' come to mind.
Hey Dog brewery's serve a great purpose in life don't put them and the FUARU in the same sentence. As to that article have a look at the grub who wrote it. Same piece of crap that's had it in for us the whole way. Hansie I hope you guys go in there and rip, tear and bust those useless inbreeds.
Listen to Oli Peterson this arvo on 6PR. I hope he asks the ARU via public forum questions that boof1050's grub is incapable of asking.
On another note - 2 cracking matches this weekend. Boars at Bennet Park vs the Palms and Soaks vs the Bulls. another two examples of our competition playing some amazing rugby. Not sure if we'll see Brad, Kane and Co for the boars, but Mees, Onehunga and not sure if Chance may have a run with the Palms I watched Pally last week and across the park they have some talent.
This is another reason amongst many, why we will fight the ARU and keep the Force in WA.
Re Lavan lawyers- how about if we lose the case we assume it was a no win no fee situation and we all do a mass thank you email to them instead????
Pulver can't say anything else, even if the opposite conclusion is staring him in the face.
This is C-suite 101, - if at this stage of proceedings Pulver expresses the slightest doubt in what he is doing, then his fellow C-suiters (and the ARU board) will tear him to pieces.
If in the end his confidence is shown to have been misplaced, then he should be able to employ the classic C-suite defence of blaming someone else who is not there to defend themselves - for example, the two C-suiters who have conveniently resigned from the ARU in the past 2 months.
Wallabydarnd, ever see a lawyer eat an email?
or humble pie?
