Pretty sure that the deal is being negotiated this early is due to the chance that more SA teams will move to Europe and the tv deal from the usual suspects is likely to be less.

But the kiwis aren’t a rabble and any comp which doesn’t contain them will be second best

Guys have a look at the article they want to start broadcasting by 2021. IPRC starts 2019 with these and other streaming services already on board. Early bird gets the worm! I wonder what SANZAAR will get for the reduced comp during the next negotiation stage? Will NZL ask for more due to having more teams? That would be a kick in the guts to Rats Asshole (ARU)

if the ARU thinks Foxtel are going to pay more for reduced content post 2020 the ARU needs their head read.

There is no way foxtel is gonna pay more for a comp that actually features less australian content.

I got great satisfaction telling foxtel it was over and I was done due to the Force axeing. I am now on my 2nd month of free foxtel as they desperately try and keep me(which I am enjoying the free Autumn International fixtures [our spring tours] ) It is going to be hugely satisfying when my 3rd month expires to tell em because of what they were complicit in (eg the broadcast negotiations from Clyne to justify the reduction)! Ill probably end up with another 3 months for free
