A FAMILY of Collingwood supporters were out doing their Saturday morning shoplifting at Rebel Sport when the son picked up a Carlton jumper and said to his 10-year-old sister, “Hey, moll, I’ve decided to steal this and become a Blues supporter.”
His outraged sister whacked him over the head with her carton of Winnie Reds and said, “Go and tell Mum then, shithead!”
The kid went and told his mother, who threw a half-full can of VB at him and hissed, “Right, we’re going to see your father about this.”
The family immediately went to Pentridge and demanded an emergency visit with the kid’s dad. The dad was hauled out of his cell to the rec room, only to see the fruit of his loins wearing a Blues jumper. He went berserk, backhanding his son across the room and screaming, “No bastard of mine will ever be seen wearing that shit!”
On the way home, the kid’s mother turned to him and said, “Well, have you learnt anything today, dickhead?”
“Shit, yes, you old slag, I bloody well have,” the kid replied. “I’ve only been a Carlton supporter for an hour, and I already hate you Collingwood pricks!”
