Get the Premier to call Pulver!
Such a pile of horse....
If it's all about saving money to SANZAR (which lets be honest, is a key driver in 99% of decisions made here) then how is flying to Japan or Argentina saving more money than competing in & flying to Perth...
It's supposed to be a national game and the ARU are always on about growing community rugby, then how is cutting half the country & keeping Melbourne (with no clear desire to grow rugby over afl) better for the sport?! Such a short sighted decision that would be!
No doubt the decision has already been made anyway but what a spectacularly pathetic way to undo 10+ years of hard work & community development if they cut the force.
Posted this elsewhere but I'll post it here as well.
Apparently the ARU will announce tomorrow:

the ARU is believed to announce a forthcoming process to determine which team deserves to be cut.
Interesting : http://www.rugby365.com/tournaments/...w-super-format
The wording of that press release is complete shit jargs.
"deserves to be cut?? "
The team that DESERVES to be cut is the Reds who are underperforming spectacularly despite throwing the bank at the cream of Australian rugby history. They aren't going to get the arse are they?
Why doesn't Australia leave the SANZAR setup and do our own conference?
How do you work it out?
Most expensive? Rebels
Worst performing? Rebels
Least potential to contribute to future success? Brumbies
Maybe if the metric is distance from Sydney?
The decision to Expand the Super rugby was a joint venture with the NZRFU, The ARU and SARU. They under the control of SANZAR thought this would be great.. They brought Japanese player to Australia to get them to understand SR.. In the eyes of the people who promoted and allowed this the trial has in their eyes Failed.. In the eyes of the rugby public the plan has failed, This means we the rugby public and players have no confidence in the organisation.. This should be enough to have a vote and kick the members of the ARU board and SANZAAR board to the kerb.. The Weakness of the game also is from the officials who ref the games.. We have lost some very good Refs to 7s and NH rugby and it has left us with 2nd rate officials which also has a negative reaction to the game... people want fair games.. The rugby crowd pays big bucks and expect the best not 2nd rate... I myself am very disappointed in the ARU for their handling of our game.. So I could not stay today as its a 300km trip home but by the sounds of it there were tears on the field at the end.. Was a great win and the boys did us the force fans proud ...
