Yep.
- Save $1,000 each year on membership fees from now on (used to be $2,000 a year until the tin lids gave up in disgust on the Force last year).
- Save $5,000+ on one time purchases of shares in Own the Force.
- Save $5,000+ each year on tickets, air fares and accommodation to attend Bledisloe matches in Sydney.
I mourn the $20,000+ which I have spent on Western Force memberships since 2006 - could have made significant additions to my cellar with that money over the years.
Geoff Stooke on ABC now saying the ARU Board has not met to make a decision on which Aussie team would be cut, if any.
We need thousands of emails to the ARU today expressing outrage if the Force is cut - they need to see a risk if they make this shit decision - maybe our last chance to turn this around - on your keyboards please Force fans!
Absolutely agree. Their silence is deafening. They are obviously quite happy to let the media run riot while they cruelly keep their own employees in the dark as to whether they will be out of work in a few months' time. It's an absolute disgrace. But then again, it's what we've come to expect from an arrogant, out of touch group who sit in their ivory tower watching their own bank balances bulge at our expense.

Should that situation continue and the ARU don't come out and challenge the article today, we would seem to be on extremely shaky ground. Considering it was News Ltd that broke the story, it will be interesting to see what their employees have to sat on Kick N Chase tonight. They have been very much pro-Force since the rumours of one franchise being axed have surfaced. That stance had made me pretty confidant News Ltd wanted us to stay. Any change there would be a worry.
theres a change.org petition going to leave the Force in too
edit: https://www.change.org/p/bill-pulver...boycott-sanzar
when I was doing the petition I was given an ARU email address.
if you wanted to send an email to someone in charge I would imagine that using his first name FULLSTOP last name AT ARU DOT COMmercial DOT AUstralia would be a good place to start.
it would be a safe bet that the emails would be read by some administrative staff first - so please dont be rude. They are just doing their job.

There is a statement from ARU on Roar. Not much to it but at least doesn't confirm anyone going! Seriously dislike that journalist who started all this angst before anything known for sure. Hopefully though may mobilise a few more rugby fans to come next weekend..

A statement that doesn't say much and will continue to let speculation run rife.
