Some of the media work this year has been amazing. I think it's time to pay tribute to some of the tripe that's been dished up. I'd like to nominate the Telstra Homepage for the headline you write when you don't want to admit you lost:

Reds end Super Rugby season in Highlander win :eek:

(Yessssss we've finally won another match .....wait for it, next line)

The Reds have ended their Super Rugby season with 40-17 thrashing by the Highlanders at Forsyth Barr Stadium

( oh so the Reds actually lost - gee that was actually almost misleading wasn't it. :mad:

In the same vaein, I'd like to nominate Phil Kearns for an equally misleading tag of "rugby Commentator" and Rod Kafer for the same problem with "Rugby Expert"

Kearns boxes pretty clever now, he never really says too much, a bit like the 'Tahs last night , he just about turns up, then get his pay and leaves - great gig.
