2015 Rugby World Cup Tipping
The TWF 2015 Rugby World Cup Tipping Competition is open!
First prize this year is actually the same as the last RWC tipping comp we had in 2011, a cap signed by Nobody which was generously donated by OxleyMoron. Back in the 2011 RWC tipping comp,Guru took out first prize, and being a follower of the dark side, opted for an unsigned NZ version of the same cap rather than this one.
It's free to join, free to play, and free to win, and I'll see what I can do about rustling up some more prizes.
How it works:
*The comp is split over 5 rounds, plus 3 rounds of finals.
*You must enter your tips before the close of each round which matches the kick off time of the first match of each round. All times used are Perth Time - GMT+8.
Round 1: Closes on Saturday, 19th September 2015 at 3:00 am
Round 2: Closes on Wednesday, 23rd September 2015 at 9:30 pm
Round 3: Closes on Sunday, 27th September 2015 at 7:00 pm
Round 4: Closes on Sunday, 4th October 2015 at 11:45 pm
Round 5: Closes on Saturday, 10th October 2015 at 3:00 am
*Pick the winning team and margin by which they'll win. You can also tip a drawn result.
*You will be awarded 10 points for correctly tipping the winning team of a match.
*If you have tipped the correct winner, you may also be award bonus points if you picked a margin within 10 points of the actual result up to a maximum of 10 points tipping the correct margin. Decreasing by 1 for each point you were off.
*Should you correctly tip all matches in a round (irrespective of margin), you will be awarded a bonus 10 points for that round.
*Should you forget to get your tips in for a round, or join after the competition has started, you will awarded the same number of points as the the worst tipper for that round.
*Tip all matches, up to and including the Finals
*I suggest tipping for all matches up front, and then modifying your tips as you go
