I have no problems with them being invited but it would be unfortunate if any accepted the invite, especially if it involved incurring expenses.

And who are expected to cheer for - our team or our team? Comment is right about scrounging for some cheap fan support on the back of the damage they left.
It would certainly be a big free hit for the Rebels and RA, easily spun that WA had accepted the situation and was back onside, justifying the decision as correct...
Those people may or may not be back. I've noticed that the bulk of them on more than one season contracts (not that it means much). Some of them could have stayed (I understand the Haylett Pettys and Coleman going) in Perth with Cowan and Tessmann.
You have to start pointing the finger at the Rebels and start asking questions. It is more than just the extra funding and support that the 'organisation' got from the RA at the expense of the other unions. Particularly Rugby WA (who have to handle the demand) and the Brumbies who receive a shoe string from the RA while taking over vital sporting areas like the Riverina from the NSWRU.
The Rebels debt owing including the $13 million that was written off. Money is now gone and can't go back in to the game.
Victoria also has two spots on the RA board. One for the VRU the other for the MRRU.
This goes beyond Tim North having and photocopying a copy of the Alliance Agreement.
How does Victoria have two spots on the board?
What are the two spots
I think Bakkies means one for the VRU and one for the MRRU, Lou.
Does he mean votes or men/women on the board?
Well another six weeks for the big annual report to see how much money was sunk into the rebels last FY - can't wait
Could be some creative accounting
They will probably change the format of the financial reports so we can't compare last year with this year!! And they'll likely find some useful new descriptions for certain categories of expenditure..........And pass it off as just the new CFO's way of doing things....
