17/18 depending on what part of the world you are in
I'm in the part of the world that shouldn't lose a team.
I think it's today - 15 Nov
"SANZAAR’s strategic review — prompted by savage reviews of its clunky 18-team comp*etition introduced this year — was expected to be completed by next month but now looks like being pushed pack to December. “I expect we will have a decision pre-Christmas,” Pulver said"

No answer this month.
I think that was always the case.
Prepare for plenty of ES press qouting "Sauces" between now and then.
Just gives us the opportunity to put together more evidence and more actions to show why we are here to stay.

Looks like a decision on the Super Rugby competition structure will not be made until March now. Still have a hunch Aus will keep five teams
Say what you will about Georgina she usually knows what's going on behind the scenes.
If she's saying that there will still be 5 teams then she knows something. (Or has heard something)
Won't stop me from buying my bit of the team though.
That is right, and she would be the first to lay the boot or at least speculate, if we were on the way out, so it does sound promising to me too :approve:
Decision delay in line with what a TWF poster put in the thread of the members evening.
I agree M15_Dog, she has been very quick to spruik negativity particualrily when it comes to the Force, her current line appears to to suggest she knows the status quo will remain for Australia.
However at the same time she is also putting it out their Daniel Herbert may be out of the QRU , again before any official word, showing her love of negative postings.
The news of the impending demise of the Force is one of the best things to happen to us in recent times.
It has galvanized the fans, the board and the players.
I would take this as promising but now is not the time to lift the foot off the gas pedal.
I would suggest that it's time to ramp things up to the next level.
My glass is a little less than half full on that one. The season will be under way, nobody still swinging on the Force's future for 2017. 2018 still another story. Presumably the share issues will have to be paid up or partly so. As it stood we were to know next month. So the gun is still cocked and loaded......"Show us the colour of your money", in other words. Still without the promise of even a short term stay of execution? Maybe Sauces can uncover what really transpired. If it was "Show us the money and your in" we can cough up and breathe a little easier. General????
That's exactly right. Well just keep pushing our programmes. A very encouraging shift today was the ARU posting our progress on their website along with the squad update. Could mean they are starting to beleive as well.

The decision to delay was made unilaterally by the Sanzar members. However we are feeling that the ARU's view is moving away from supporting a 4 Club model. We are having a real impact on their thinking and they are genuinely becoming excited about what we have achieved by the unity we seem to be building in WA. All good.on another note, Pulver responded to RWA after receiving Exile's Fan Petition saying how impressed they were and checking that we were communicating with all the fans who signed up.
Let's keep trucking and communicating.
Or South Africa giving up two teams
