Only saw the last 10 mins but seemed like the blues did like the reds and tried to shut it down, and crusaders just went for it.
The force need to forget about shutting down play or going to a territory game. They need to end 80 mins like they have started it in the last few games, aggressive, in the face, slick attack. Even if they turn over it is less risk then kicking back to the crusaders.
Watching chiefs and rebels and other games. There's no doubt that NZ teams are good but they aren't perfect. They drop the ball, miss passes, knock on just as much as we do. They just know how to run a good line, back up and trust each other to be there.
It's not about players and skills its about coaching and motivation and the winning mentality.
And their supporters don't talk them down for every mistake like Oz supporters do, especially not like Oz supporters do for those not on their team.
Its a sad thing to say about Australian rugby is that the their is a lot of supports that think rugby is only played in 2 states and they don't want to see it anywhere else.. I watch as much of the other games as possible to see who are the stand out players are from each squad.. Till Aus rugby becomes united and as Daz has said people get on board with a national support base if just going to keep failing.. I listened to Crudens after match report and even he mentioned the rebels in just about every sentence ... It was the rebels did this and the rebels did that was a great listen.. I actually think the Rebels could knock the Tahs off next week..
I thought the chiefs got away with being offside a lot, and rolling into the wrong side Inc the ruck, but all kiwi teams seem to be able to get away with that.
Tahs V Brumbies. What a boring mistake-a-thon after the Canes V Higlanders.
Think I'll give it a miss and watch the Mungos.
Another average crowd at SFS.

tahs for the chop

The fact that today's big "derby" in Sydney was such a shite game points to one of the major reasons Super Rugby is failing in Australia, the product is just not that good any more, (not in this country anyway,) especially compared to other codes. A sport has to be enjoyable to the neutral observer, not just the rusted on fans who have a vested interest in someone to barrack for.
Say what we will about the NRC, but I enjoyed a lot of the non-Spirit games last season, despite the overall player-standard, the games were fun and full of endeavour and contests.
On a side note, had a feeling that after watching our first two games of the season, the Waratahs weren't looking too good. Their win against the Force was an aberration.
Tahs getting hammered in the tin! 33-7..... 3 mins to half time
Ripping them a new one which will be as big as the Harbour soon ;)
Got in before tournament proper to get into the south stand - 1 litre beer ftw.
Sun wolves beat the Bulls! Good game though great defence by the Wolves not the push overs they have been.
That stuffed up my multi bet!
