My TV is bigger, and, it is not angled properly so E stand viewers see it almost side on, rather than full. It needs to be bigger, much bigger, and angled diagonally across the ground. It is ironic that those with the best views of the ground from the Western Stands, also have the best, and in some cases, ONLY view of the decent big screen.
Food and drink outlets much improved from the Glory games. A lot of effort and resources have been put into this, I was impressed. But still nowhere to sit and of course only slop to drink. But service very good.
Seat in EEE. OK, in terms of central location, excellent, almost on the halfway line with panaramic views of the ground. But it is even further back than the rear of the Grandstand and the players just too far away to see their faces unless right on our sideline. No feeling of intimacy. A lot of empty seats around the ground.
Being a balmy night it was warm, but on a cold night with a westerly howling in it is going to be very, very cold. This from experience in the lower levels of E stands.
At the end of the day, Force have made the best of a poor facility. They are hamstrung by State and local gvt. Seems ironic that in the locality there are at least 3 brothels (daughter was quite amused) but no tent facilites etc. for after game relaxation are permitted. This state sure knows how to kill the golden goose. Little wonder we lose all high profile events to eastern states.
