Think that refers to Alcock's pilfer that was legal, but was penalised
There was one in the last minute (or had the siren gone) on the Force feed that was pretty ordinary but it was on our 5 metre line, 95 metres away from where we had to be
I must have it wrong then Jargs - my apols.
We've got Angus Gardner as ref - same bloke as the Rebels vs Force season opener, and only his second Super game as ref (has been touchie a couple of times).
And as I remember a pedantic prat who makes up his mind before the game who's going to win it.
Oh no!! The one who binned Alby for a bit of handbags?? *#^%%^%##~!!!!
Professional foul? For throwing the ball away? Is he serious?
+1 .Couldn't agree more on all of the above!
I don't know if this is too risky, but I'd also like to see them target Genia. No questioning his quality, but he's going to be rusty, and they need to cut off /reduce the good quality ball to the ball to the Red's backline. QC doesn't like to be be bustled and get bad ball - look what the ABs did to him in the RWC.
Breakdown pressure like we saw against the Bulls + smacking around Willie G = unhappy Quade.
I wouldn't so much target Wliie, as he's probably good enough to get around that. Where I'm sure we'll have the advantage is in pressuring the breakdown. I think the Reds will look to avoid having the ball on the floor and our pack have to make sure they aren't successful. Lock the ball up in the tackle, flood the breakdown and counter ruck like monsters. Added to that, pressure from the pillars and an advancing line looking to intercept the flat balls they use will stop their momentum and push Quade back where he's pretty useless.
That's the recipe, and like any game of rugby, it starts at the breakdown.
Has Hodgo gone to Brisbane?
Saw on Twitter this morning (courtesy of Sheps) that Hodgo and Jody had a little boy called Hunter
I agree - like I said, it's risky. But Madness seems to be up for it!
