How good are Public Holiday beers at the pub?
The answer is great!
"Reds and Tahs received $5.935 million each. Brumbies $5.7 million and the Rebels $6.8 million. Force got 231k.
Community Rugby. WA received less than SA 220k to 230k. Vic got 383k. ACT and Southern NSW 308k. Qld 1.151 million and NSW 1.5 million."
It would be interesting to compare that with revenue taken out of each state by the RA in 2019.
Bledisloe Cup sellout and WA gov money pre-paid for the privilege, WA would probably trump everybody.
And registered players by state.?
This doesn’t add up. The annual report said they had 200 on JobKeeper.

err..sorry..read it for myself
Had a couple of cleansing ales with the lads in North Sydney this evening, before heading home. We could not figure out between ourselves what it is that 200 odd staff and contractors have been gainfully employed in doing at the Moore Park bunker these past few years.
Perchance, has anyone on this list got any ideas or theories?

That is the problem with one big overarching organisation responsible for being all things to everyone (especially NSW). Those sort of structures get large and unwieldy, with overlapping responsibilities, waste and inefficiencies. More than anything out if this supposed restructure, they need to separate the key areas of the code and clean up the lines of responsibility. Most of all they need to separate the professional and amateur responsibilities for the benefit of each, as no one person or group can simultanously do both well. But mostly they need to redefine, or perhaps just remind everyone, what the relationship should be between the two and reflect that in the structure.
Good luck though, with the number of noses in the trough.
Nick Farr Jones is on the 7:30 Report tonight.
looks like i have upset Slim And Reg on GAGR
Well done BDGF! Also It was mentioned on the Rugby Wrap that when Pulver was there he had, I think it was 9 assistant managers, and when Castle was there she had 11!
It isn’t hard to upset those two.
Gutted for a number of the staff that have been let go as they most likely do the real ground work and bar Raelene none of the other executives have decided to resign.
Reading the last post in that thread you really have to spend the $41 to ASIC to download it. Not many of the journos writing about this would have a strong financial reporting background to break it down for their readers.
