i think you will find No.8 wasn't suggesting a riot more of a full scale urban War. whilst it would be affective i am affraid i have to agree with unipirate a riot would not be the most intelligent thing to do.

I've got 2 signatures already and 25 Maori's who'd rather have a riot!
From the other thread, as someone who also won't be around to see it through, I would suggest that each member who catches the train to the match do their loitering in the suburbs, perhaps missing a few trains worth from when the get to the respective station and cornering people while they are waiting on the platform.
Most people will brush you off once they have their eyes set on the Subi gates.
Would suggest that for those who will be in WA but can't make it to the match, there is little reason you couldn't have your own page or two getting signatures from wherever you will be, it is a WA team after all.
Would also suggest for those in "high flow" areas to have two or three clipboards ready each rather than just one, again, people hate waiting for anything if it means missing out on Rugby or beer!
Without wanting to toot my own trumpet too much.
this article may help
The other thing I would like to suggest is an electronic version of the petition as well - to allow people that cant make it to where the petition is available
does it matter if there not in colour?
The one I attached is still up for review. I have changed the wording slightly from what I originally posted. it now says
To Mr Alan Carpenter Premier, Western Australia and Mr John Kobelke Minister for Sport and Recreation Western Australia.
We the undersigned petition the state government to reinstate the requirement of a dedicated rectangular stadium to the proposal for upgrade to major stadia in our state. We consider the existing proposal for a multi-purpose stadium to be unsuitable to the needs of the sporting codes which require a rectangular playing surface and therefore unsuitable to codes of football other than AFL.
