That's a big call after Anthony's preformance on Sat nite.....then again, I don't even remember if Saia took the field.

Unless of course the situation is as the Press have reported it and the team isn;t being run by Mitchell anymore....a point which you made pretty strongly at the start of the season Muddy, so which is is, is Mitchell not being listened to by Giteau, or is he the cause of Giteau's generally disappointing season.....or is it both......maybe John Mitchell is a scapegoat?
Saia played at the end, gave away a penalty for entering the side of the ruck, had a couple of solid scrums and generally ran around not achieving a great deal.
Anthony's (I think) first touch was a 2m spear pass to the jaw which the commentators called bad hands (about the only way he could have held it was by opening his mouth) and then didn't really do much else.
Both have great potential and should suit Mooney's style but looked a little out of place in this match for mine.
my opinion wasnt really based on this match, its of the previous matches ive seen these guys play.
Saia is yet to impress me, whilst anthony has done some good things, he appears more of a defender then a attacker, which is potentially why the Chiefs only scored 1 or 2 tries in the second half last week
The question for mine is why any self-respecting hooker would give a rats about which flyhalf was wasting ball behind him!!??
I can't believe how much i'm agreeing with muddy these days. It terrifies me...
But I agree. Blame the whole team, the coaching staff, and the committee. Don't pinpoint. It's a team sport and so you must take the good with the bad as a whole. I'm tired of people consistently looking for one person to pinpoint this on
I think we should blame the Dockers
be afraid, be very afraid .....
Absolutley. I'm also a Drew Mitchell fan but despite that there is little about his game right now that I find pleasing and that I want to defend.
The fact that I'm a fan of Matt Giteau doesn't prevent me from being able to objectively analyse his game. Likewise my usual disdain towards Muddie doesn't prevent me from being able to recognise when he is making sense and praise him for it.
