How much has Forrest historically provided to "the amateur game in WA as he has always done" to date, other than to the particular club he chooses to support?
I don't believe so.
I agree Alison! He doesn’t have to contribute anything and he wasn’t the cause of the downfall of WA rugby but is trying to deliver us hope with the investigation of developing a new comp and helping WA out! I don’t know what else he has to do to convince people he is genuine. He invests time as well as money to try and ensure the process is right. This is just a point of view of someone who observes from a far, but I don’t get why anyone is on his case about this topic. Without him we would have very little hope at all.
Andrew has been part of the Force 15, and also when Force 15 merged into Future Force, Andrew also helped Neddies in the construction of the new club rooms, Cott for many years, FMG sponsorship of the Force, plus a few other areas which I forget at this time.
Are you talking quality or quantity?
I certainly haven't contributed to irreparably damaging it.
Whatever you are asking that Forrest has provided. Quality, Quantity - your choice?
Not sure why your mea culpa is necessary, doubt anyone would have thought otherwise.
Well, that's all good, then.
We understand each other.
Donated to two community clubs who really needed the support ; except for Cott.
Did I read somewhere that mr forrest is the new patron of cott?
Hansie, think those bastards at cott have pulled the wool over your eyes; or one of your fellow board members did.
We could have done with that sort of clout down at the foreshore. Chook will have an open cheque book.
Just when you think cott are on the way to oblivion someone rescues them.
It is hard to maintain optimism when a cone of silence has descended over the IPRC, Rugby WA etc..
Perhaps Wayne Smith of The Australian was right after all: If the ARU ... choose to cut the Western Force, rugby union is dead in Western Australia. This is the nuclear option. Nothing will ever grow there again, in rugby terms. It will become a wasteland ...".
We are going to do our damnedest to keep the game growing here and not let WA become a rugby wasteland. But without a professional team or any regard, let alone support, from the ARU, it won’t be easy.
