Speaking of One's Special Day.. We are not Amused..
I've figured out why the Force haven't announced a coach yet. They're going to wait until Sunday and offer Robbie Deans the job.....he'll be out of work after the Wales game.
Pool of death isn't as big a worry as being on the same side of the World Cup draw as NZ.
Which basically means we want to rank with an even number doesn't it?
However, I think it's better to meet NZ before the final game, in which case there might be some merit in meeting them at the quarter finals?.....works for France!
The Scots played an absolute blinder of a game in horrible conditions. Much respect to their determination and skillful play, our forwards were magnificent and outplayed the Australians.
Well done boys, hopefully we can gain confidence from this and stop the silly errors that have been costing us badly.
:yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah:
SCOTLAND!!!!!
Conditions sucked, OK but they sucked for Scotland as well. If anything having to play into the wind in the 2nd half was a disadvantage.
Our forward play in the second half was almost like the Force forwards, hammer away time and time again then turn the ball over and go back and start again.
There was a time that when an Australian team (Rugby or tiddley winks) turned up to play they would play with flat out passion, guts and determination.
Whats happened? Were has the passion gone?
That game was there for the taking and The Scots took it.:verysad:
I've been thinking for a while now that passion has been replaced by science.
First with the head, then with the heart was the memorable quote from the power of one. We only seem to have the head part and have forgotten about heart.

Way to celebrate!!
Except for Sharpie and Poey - they still play like their lives depended on it. The rest of them from last night? Meh :-(
Maybe if the Wallabies were selected purely on form rather than which province they play for, they would show more heart and fight!! Nothing like real competition for places to ignite that fighting spirit! Seems the simple pride of wearing the green and gold isn't enough anymore :-(
