Shit I hope so
Maybe Alison got to him :)
Didn't hear what he said at the game bit I said to Adam Colman after. "See you next year, right" Answer..."Blood Oath, mate"
I asked a certain forward at the Captain's run if Adam would stick with us and the answer was "don't worry he aint going anywhere"
Would love to see it announced!
But for nothing else twiggy has set alarm bells going across all news websites. The fate of the Force is now on every webpage of news sites along with the line that they demolished a blue blood state with 10 Wallabies in their line up and have a billonaire backer.
That press alone is priceless in the fight and turns up the pressure on the ARU.
Post game he said "I'll be here next year" to a group of people that were waiting for Hodgo.
Yeah.
Twiggy may be a jawbone CEO, but this is pretty good press regardless of any money actually landing at The Force.
Its time Hansie had a phone call with Allan Jones.
Saw this on Facebook posted by Dave Redpath former President of RugbyWA... Read the second last sentence....
Big night at the Western Force... Presented the David Redpath Shield to the winner of the RugbyWA Juniors Under 16s Regional Championships. Tomorrow's Superstars of the Force... Watched the Force slaughter the Waratahs 40-11 in Matt Hodgson's last game. Magnificent penalty kick from Hodgo on full time could not have been scripted better. Caught up with old friends, RugyWA Life members like Mike Penhaiigon, President of Southern Lions.. Old mates John Welborn, Trevor Cook, Arthur Hill, Peter Bailey, Geoff Stooke, Vern Reid, Brent Stewart and more... All people who have made magnificent contributions to West Australian Rugby... When he was leaving Andrew Twiggy Forrest shook my hand and said he will be doing everything he can to help retain the Force. Just a great night....
I'm pleased to hear that, and I'm glad there weren't any sock puppets there.
I asked Adam last night why he hasn't signed a new contract yet and he said that they (the Force, I presume?) hadn't put one in front of him. I can't, for a minute, imagine the Force not wanting to retain him.
Very grateful to have the Twiggler on board.Thank you and go for it!
but.... Did nobody ask him/ tap him on the shoulder 12 months ago?? With hefty sponsors last year could we have avoided selling license back to ARU and being under their sadistic cudgels now
I know we are vastly more marketable proposition now than then but begs the question
