Ouch..my poor Quins..
Saracens have done it again - beat London Irish 36-32 with Kieran starting at THP and (from reports) dominating the London Irish LHP and hooker (both Australian born, as it happens) with Court having played 32 times for Ireland and Paice 8 times for England.
With Saracens sitting 2nd on the table (Bath are ahead on points difference) then the reports of Keiran getting picked for England don't seem at all far-fetched
Saracens lost this week - they played Bath (who were also unbeaten and better points differential).
Keiran started on the bench and came on at 48 minutes with Bath 18-6 up. The match finished 21-11, so Keiran stabilised things.
I went and watched Sarecens demolition of Sale the weekend before last. Unfortunately KBomb didn't get on the park due to a squad rotation policy, but he certainly noticed me in my hybrid Saracens cap and Force jersey ensemble.
Going again this Saturday. Hoping Keiran will get some good game time.
Noticed that Kieran came off the bench for Saracens this weekend - first match back since about October. Saracens lost, although they were playing Northampton, who are top.
Saracens are 3rd on the table with 2 games to go, with the top 4 making the play-offs. Their remaining games are at home to Exeter (5th), and away to London Welsh (12th) who make our season look positively outstanding (played 20, lost 20, with an average score of 45-10!)
Thanks for the updates Sheikh - I think we've missed K-Bomb this year.
He's probably missed his chance of getting a call-up for England, although there aren't many England qualified tight-heads playing in the Premiership. If Saracens make the play-offs then they could have 4 games left, and Kieran could make an impact then. Then England have 3 warm-up games before they finalise their squad.
