While there's been a bunch of chatter about players, ARU, crowds, money etc..
I'd just like to draw your attention to this bloke..
I think we are very privileged to have secured his services so early in his (what I imagine will be) long career..

Have to agree. It looks like the guys are enjoying their rugby in addition to learning how to play with skill. The future looks bright for Dave and the Force but you could also say that with the injection of Simon Cron at the Tards, and the new guy at the Brumbies, maybe , just maybe we are starting to develop solid coaches for the future.
The other two have to prove themselves yet. Blood actually got out of the coaches box and wandered around the ground shaking hands and thanking fans for coming out this year. I've never seen that from a coach and imho it's that sort of leadership by example that works for him. Long may he coach in the west.
Well done Dave and the rest of the coaching staff!
Yes A big thank you and creditaldo to Sean Byrne and Joe Barakat, they've got the most from these guys. How many this time last year were playing just club rugby!
Agree with all above, he has the personality and skills and a great team supporting him.
Little story about Blood..
After the force lost to the chiefs my 6 year old was inconsolable as it was also his birthday. The missus took him down the sideline to see the players but he was still bawling his eyes out. Dave saw him, came over and huddled up to them and told him how it is ok to be upset, that the players tried their hardest and it was his wife's birthday as well. That last bit got the boys attention and he calmed down a bit :). Won't forget turning around and seeing Wessel's head down, arms around the missus and kid trying his best to help a young force fan
That said Foley was very approachable as well.
