so did one get a song or chant out of all the correspondence surrounding this post? alot of talk and no action.... after hearing the rebels crowd last weekend we maybe struggling to be the force we once were!
LOL Forrrrrrce Forrrrrrce !!!!!
I think there was a shortlist, my suggestion from The Real Thing, 'Can you feel the Force' not liked, too many high pitch lines in that one
Cheers
Batto,I loved it and with the Force using the catchphrase "Feel the Force" this season I think it should be used. Perhaps we can get it played at the home games!
Yeah I reckon so, even if we bring it down a few octaves, I reckon we will be ok
I liked the idea of amending one of the soccer chants that was posted on here, something like:
"We're Western, we're Western, we are the Western Force"
Trumpet player....like France have.... it can be heard and ignites everyone into a combined voice... sorry but I cant play anything!!!!!!!!! Maybe we need a paid trumpeter be worth it!!!!!!!
Don't we have a club song? I still remember we sang it in 2008 season.
Unfortunately the "Club Song" is gayer than Mardi Gras :S
If you want to match the rebels crowd then you will have a lot of work to do. I've been sitting with them the past few weeks and they have chants for every player, every opposition team, at least 4 for the team as a whole and then the club song as well" can you hear the people sing".
Its actually quite impressive especially when the rest of the crowd joins in, if you think they are loud through the tv, you need to experience it live.

Yeah good luck, any time I mention an instrument of any sort on this forum someone threatens to tear my nuts off...
Still, this is the soccer club my mum supports in Indonesia - imagine if we had something like that ;)

Nah, it isn't the mention of an instrument Beige :P
Nathan asked me on the weekend if we had got any "War Cries" sorted....I managed to get the crowd that was there to sing him "Happy Birthday".... :)
We do need someone with a very loud voice....Mine looses volume after a couple of bars...(I don't mean drinking bars....!!!:) ) notes of music....:(
I think this chant thing is as dead as a dodo!......
