Really? But what young Perth player reading this forum would want to have anything to do with Rugby WA?
We have club luminaries, ex presidents, life members, coaches and ex coaches bagging the hell out of the organisation here at every opportunity. The kid may as well look elsewhere anyway.
With good cause it would seem.
not knowing anything about this kid, may I ask;
Was he born and raised here?
Was he invited to any academies?
Did he go through any of the pathways?
Do the academies ask players would their preferred team be the Force of do they have allegiance to other areas and would they or their families prefer to opt out of any academy positions early?
Does he have family/heritage in that part of the world?
What position does the kid play?
Are we starting to see the fruits of the growth of rugby in WA because does that now 6 youngsters that have been picked up. - with more to develop over the coming years.
If and when young players come over to WA do their locals have a sook or see it as an awesome opportunity?
These are genuine questions, before any you get shitty.
Oh and congratulations to the lad for getting a position in the academy. Hope he continues to enjoy his rugby.
You forgot does dwayne Nestor like him
No, born in NZ.
Yes. Played for Aussie U/20s last year. Would have had Nestors attention.
Sort of. Not sure how long he was over here but would have progressed through colts, prems etc. Westiesman? Need some clarification please.
No. Force academy is there to develop future Force players.
Yes. Is a kiwi lad afterall. Played for the heartland side that faced off against the Aussie Barbarians.
Backrow/Lock. Best position is 6 from what i saw.
Yes. More and more players taking the next step. Not all are going to be Force players but we are producing talent that is being recognized far and wide.
Hard question to answer. Most players come to WA loking for opportunity, whether it be playing wise or job wise.

Looks like they got most of the Waikato population in that squad. 37 players named.
We missed out on one but we do have Ainsley, Masiwera, Matuauto and Nikoro as NZ born who have been selected for the Force coming from the development system over there.
