Hey rugby fans- i have just spent a couple of days helping the Krushers out!! Bully Shaw, Budda and I went to every primary school in the town doing taster sessions - we didnt even let the monsoon stop us!! The schools have been great and want to get involved- so Krushers need to look out cos the next flood is going to be young players on saturday morning!! Today we had a hit out at the High school and the response from staff and students was fantastic- its the way it should be country rugby fans!! Busso Jets are up and thriving and these two clubs are the template for the future of the game!! Its a players game- get em playing!! Great support from the Krushers- great coffee at "the Grange" and some fantastic places to stay- a real rugby experience!!

i don't don't know how you'll go setting up actual junoir t eam we once had one in narrogin but lack of parent suport ment it fell down to one person running junoirs and when he left the junoirs fell apart. might be easier if you get team set up in mutiple towns. We had to travel to perth every weekend
-
fair enough mate that is exactly what we are not wanting to happen here. Also we have been in contact with Narrogin Ag school and are trying to get them to feild a side this year as well as Denmark, Brigetown, Bunbury, Bussleton (who our fellas will be playing a curtin raiser for the grand final of country carnival on sunday).
As a club, Not a school side on excursion, we have travled with our young fellas to Mt Barker, Denmark, Bridgetown, Narrogin and Perth this year alone. the next towns in our sites are Williams and Wagin but they will be later in the year looking towards 2009. On the support side of things we have gained people to our committee from our juniors comitments and have been able to recoup most costs incured from our town council.
so Rahne, do you play for broncos then? if so ill see you on the weekend!

Hey guys- it's a different world in country rugby at the moment- we must keep the momentum going- look always at what there is- and not what there isn't!!
