For those of you who are planning to come to watch any of the grand finals on Sunday (31st August), you should bear in mind that the City to Surf fun run is on that day too, so your usual route to Perry Lakes might need reviewing!

If you normally come along Underwood Ave then, depending on what time you're planning on being on it, you might find you just can't!

Coming from Cambridge Street/Floreat Forum would be my recommendation to youse all. See you there! (I'll be the one dressed as a referee - that should narrow it down for you - come say hello if you want)

Members of RugbyWA (not EWF) get free entry as well.

free entry!? how do we know if we are members of RugbyWA? how much $$ pay up if not?

If you area member of RugbyWA you will have paid your $30 or $40 membership at the start of the local season and you would have a membership card.

This is NOT part of your Western Force membership.

I think it's $5 entry? It was a few years back anyway. I just rock up in my ref's outfit and get in without paying......

I've just google mapped the entry gate but it's not clear enought to read what the sign says.

Funny that, a ref that can't see clearly;)

I'll check at work tomorrow exactly where is getting blocked off and which will be the best way to get to the ground.

The paper should have maps in it over the next few days but I will get the heads up from the boss tomorrow and pass it on.

Road closures shouldn't be a problem come GF time.

Sorry - I assumed some of youse guys might go & watch some of the other GFs, not just the 1st Grade. Like I will.

laura

We probably will, just that 1st grade would probably be the main one that people are going to and where road closures would become the biggest problem.

Hope those players participating in the early finals realise the road-closure situation!

Unfortunately I won't be able to watch any of the rugby over the weekend as I'll be on a plane coming back from the UK.

Everyone was getting in free today.*

It says $5 entry at the gate but no-one was attending the kiosk. Might be different tomorrow - I dunno.

* That's free; not "for free" 'cos that doesn't make grammatical sense
